Steeleye Span, Sails Of Silver, LP UK Chrysalis 1980 - CHR 1304 

Without Martin Charty and John Kirkpatrick, Steeleye Span resumes its journey with a record that could be defined as a transitional one. The original Chrysalis was reissued a year later, in 1981, by the American Takoma. The elegant but insignificant cover is by Adrian Chesterman. On the back, there is a photo by Martyn Goddard whose colors are excessively artificial (the fiery sky in the background).

Senza Martin Charty e John Kirkpatrick riprende il cammino degli Steeleye Span con un disco che si potrebbe definire di transizione. L'originale della Chrysalis è stato ristampato un anno dopo, nel 1981, dalla americana Takoma. La copertina, elegante ma poco significativa, è opera di Adrian Chesterman. Sul retro si trova invece una foto del gruppo di Martyn Goddard i cui colori risultano eccessivamente artefatti (il cielo infuocato sullo sfondo).
