Steeleye Span, Storm Force Ten, LP UK Chrysalis 1977 - CHR 1151 

This "hurricane force ten" is not as overwhelming as the album title might suggest. For "steeleye" it is an interlocutory period: once the inspiration of the first phase is over, all that remains are rather rough and heavy electric sounds. Energy is not synonymous with artistic beauty. The cover features a drawing of a barometer and, on the back, a stormy sea. The album was recorded in Holland, at Phonogram studios. 

Questo "uragano forza dieci" non è così travolgente come potrebbe far pensare il titolo dell'album. Per gli "steeleye" si tratta di un periodo interlocutorio: terminata l'ispirazione della prima fase, non rimangono che sonorità elettriche alquanto rozze e pesanti. L'energia non è sinonimo di bellezza artistica. La copertina presenta il disegno di un barometro e, sul retro, un mare in tempesta. L'album è stato registrato in Olanda, negli studi Phonogram.
