Steeleye Span, Commoners Crown, LP

Chrysalis (January 1975) - CHR 1071
A sculpture by Shirtsleeves
Studios stands out on the cover of Commoners Crown: a crown illuminated
by a beam of light, composed of many small men, as many as have
contributed to supporting the English crown throughout history. No
indication appears on the provenance of this object. The album is very
beautiful (how can we forget "Long Lankin"?) and, among the
collaborations, the presence of Peter Sellers who plays the ukulele in
"New York girls" should be noted.
