Steeleye Span, Hark! The Village Wait,
LP UK Mooncrest 1974 - CREST
22
The first album is published
by different publishers in different graphic designs, in this British
edition Mooncrest presents a cover almost identical to the original RCA
edition. The only difference: the titles are in white and not orange.
Even today, after more than thirty years, listening is very pleasant
and the arrangements are effective, the drums are not too invasive and
leave space for string instruments, such as Terry Woods' mandolin. You
can feel the genius of Ashley Hutchings and Maddy Prior's voice, in
songs like "The Blacksmith" and "Dark eyes Sailor", is enchanting.
copertina quasi identica all'edizione originale della RCA. Unica
