John Kirkpatrick, Every Mortal Place
Fledg'ling Records FLED 3089 (CD, UK, 2012) Un
CD dedicato alla folk music della regione dello Shropshire. Si tratta
di un album piacevolissimo che si può apprezzare ancor
più seguendo gli appunti che Kirkpatrick ha scritto in un ricco
booklet contenente anche un'introduzione di Shirley Collins. La
registrazione è stata effettuata da Oliver Knight ai Panda Sound
e mixato dallo stesso Knight in collaborazione a Kirkpatrick che ne
è anche il produttore. Di quest'ultimo, all'interno della
confezione, si può trovar euna bella fotografia di Amy Dyke: ma
