After 12 years, here comes
this live from the 1990 winter tour. It is a vinyl reissue of a CD
already released at the time. The sound actually seems not very
detailed, the tracks probably deserved a remastering. Among the songs
performed, all quite faithful to the original versions, there is an
irresistible medley (just the kind that make you jump) that includes
well-known songs such as "Matty Groves" and "The lark in the morning".
The packaging graphics, by Peter Pracownik, are bucolic but pleasant,
in the style of the seventies; the stage photographs in the booklet are
beautiful.
Dopo 12 anni ecco apparire
questo live relativo al tour invernale del 1990. Si tratta della
ristampa su vinile di Un CD già pubblicato all'epoca. Il
suono in verità appare poco dettagliato, le tracce
meritavano probabilmente una rimasterizzazione. Tra i brani eseguiti,
tutti alquanto fedeli alle versioni originali, c'è da
registrare un irresistibile medley (proprio di quelli che fanno
saltare) che comprende brani noti quali "Matty Groves" e "The lark in
the morning". La grafica della confezione, opera di Peter Pracownik,
è bucolica ma piacevole, nello stile degli anni settanta;
belle le fotografie di scena del booklet.
