Fairport Convention, Moat On the Ledge, LP Let Them Eat Vinyl 2014 - LETV155LP

The album was born from a summer reunion that will be the first of a long series: in fact, at Cropredy, every year, Fairport fans will have the opportunity to see their idols again. It is a not very productive period, from a compositional point of view, between 1980 and 1984, where only the annual festivals keep the group alive. In 1982, the historic group is reunited for the occasion with Thompson and Mattacks. The album covers feature an evocative image of Fairport, on a boat in front of Broughton Castle where the live show was recorded on 15 August 1981, and then republished several times, the last in 2014. The work was mixed at Woodworm Studios. Note that the last track is erroneously called "High School Condential".
