Fairport unConventional Free Reed FRQCD 35 (4 CD, UK, May 2002) Un cofanetto imperdibile per chi ama i "fairport". Sicuramente è un po' costoso, 40 sterline per le isole britanniche, la bellezza di 80 euro circa in europa. Ma il contenuto è davvero meritevole: 4 cd contenenti materiali inediti, registrazioni occasionali, trasmissioni radio, in generale materiali mai ascoltati. E' come se una nuova immagine del gruppo ci venga restituita dal recente passato e questo non può non stupire. Oltre ai cd la confezione, elegantissima e ben confezionata, contiene anche un vero e proprio libro scritto da Nigel Schonfield che illustra dettagliatamente, oltre alla storia della band, anche il tipo di materiale presentato.
