Fairport Convention, Moat On the Ledge, LP CANADA Stony Plain 1982 - SPL 1052

The album was born from a summer reunion that will be the first of a long series: in fact, at Cropredy, every year, Fairport fans will have the opportunity to see their favourites again. The period between 1980 and 1984 was not very productive for the group from a compositional point of view: it is basically the annual festivals that keep the group alive. In 1982, the historic group with Thompson and Mattacks is reunited for the occasion. The album covers feature an evocative image of Fairport, on a boat in front of Broughton Castle (in bue vinyl for the canadian edition).
