Il 1972 è un anno difficile per i Fairport; Simon Nicol si allontana dal gruppo per seguire Ashley Hutchings nella Albion Band. Entrano invece nella formazione il cantante Trevor Lucas  (marito di Sandy Danny) e il chitarrista americano Jerry Donahue. Il disco non è dei migliori, c'è solo un brano tradizionale e molti pezzi appaiono un po' troppo facili, ad eccezione della intensa "Rosie" ch eda titolo all'album. Mick Haggerty ha curato una copertina suggestiva quantunque un po' oleografica.
