Fairport Convention, Angel Delight, LP UK Island Records (June 1971) - ILPS 9162

Richard Thompson leaves the group, as does manager Joe Boyd. Simon Nicol thus acquires an important role both for the arrangements and for the role of vocalist that he shares with Swarbrick. Overall it's a nice album: the cover of the American edition has a dark brown color while the European one is very light. Inside there are photographs by Roberta Nicol (abandoned houses, statues covered in vegetation) and an introduction by Jim Bickhart.
