This album by Fairport
Convention is often considered the most beautiful, one could mention
the well-known "Matty Groves" but also the very sweet "Farewell
Farewell" by Richard Thompson, sung splendidly by Sandy Denny. The
arrival of Dave Mattacks, the new drummer, also contributes greatly to
the group's maturity.

"Matty Groves" were recorded on 22 October 1969 - "Come All Ye", "The
Lark In The Morning Medley", and "Tam Lin" were recorded on 29 October
1969.
