The album is marked by the
arrival of violinist Dave Swarbrick who contributes to decisively
directing the group's path towards what is defined as the new English
folk rock. At the same time, drummer Ian Matthews, much more "American"
in his tendencies, leaves the group. It was a happy period for the band
if it weren't for the car accident in which Martin Lamble lost his

disco è segnato dall'arrivo del violinista Dave Swarbrick
che
contribuisce a indirizzare decisamente il cammino del gruppo verso
quello che si definisce il nuovo folk rock inglese. Parallelamente esce
dal gruppo il batterista Ian Matthews, molto più "americano"
nelle tendenze. E' un periodo felice per la band se non fosse per
l'incidente stradale in cui perde la vita Martin Lamble. Sandy Danny
canta con enorme intensità. La copertina di questa edizione
britannica presenta i parenti di Sandy all'esterno del loro giardino.
