Fairport
Convention,
LP Polydor 1968 - 583035
The first album by Fairport,
a historic English folk rock group, is a bit immature. When listening
today it appears somewhat dated and confused in the repertoire. There
are some good performances of Joni Mitchell songs, sung by Judy Dyble.
The producer is the American Joe Boyd. The album's graphics are quite
dark, featuring the five musicians, including the very young Richard
Thompson, illuminated by a Tiffany lamp.
All'ascolto appare oggi alquanto datato e
