Andy Cutting, Chris Wood, Knock John, CD RUF Records 1999 - RUFCD08

Fort Knock John, on the south bank of the Thames, is one of the four Naval Sea Forts designed to provide anti-aircraft defence in the estuary after the Luftwaffe began their raids on London in 1940. The fort was left to itself in the late 1940’s. Chris Wood's photographs that illustrate the cover and the inside of the booklet.come probably from that place This effort of the Wood-Cutting duo deserves attention: both the traditional songs and the original compositions (e.g. "The North Downs Way" and "Miss Lindsay Barker") are executed with a great sensitivity.

"The North Downs Way" e "Miss Lindsay Barker") sono eseguiti con grande sensibilità.
