Ashley Hutchings, Kickin' Up The Sawdust, LP UK EMI Records 1977 - SHSP 4073

This is an album entirely dedicated to traditional ballads. The recordings were made in the Sawmills studios which are hidden in a cove on the River Fowey, the building was once a sawmill (represented in the cover photograph). All the performances are very rigorous, precise in timing, overall it is an album that is still enjoyed listening to today: it was later reissued by BGO on CD.
