Ashley si propone con una nuova band di buon impatto: brani come "New blue stockings" e "The first europeans" sono davvero apprezzabili, così come la coralità in generale. Brave Ruth Angell e Jo Hamilton (autrici anche delle fotografie del booklet) ma anche Mark Hutchinson alla chitarra elettrica. Il basso di Hutchings è poi brillante come sempre. Splendida la confezione illustrata dagli acquarelli di Kate Hardy.
