Albion Dance Band, I Got New Shoes, LP UK Making Waves 1988 - SPIN 132

In the most critical period for folk-rock, which is struggling to find new paths, this album by Albion, here in a "dance" version, is certainly no exception. It is not enough to "buy new shoes", as the title suggests, because the album has no identity and the style is very heterogeneous: it goes from danceable to more listening songs, such as the interesting "The Gloucestershire Almain" by John Sheperd. The cover design by Twink Addison is very beautiful.
