Albion Dance Band, I Got New Shoes, LP UK Making Waves
1988 - SPIN 132
In
the most critical period for folk-rock, which is struggling to find new
paths, this album by Albion, here in a "dance" version, is certainly no
exception. It is not enough to "buy new shoes", as the title suggests,
because the album has no identity and the style is very heterogeneous:
it goes from danceable to more listening songs, such as the interesting
"The Gloucestershire Almain" by John Sheperd. The cover design by Twink
Addison is very beautiful.
più d'ascolto, come l'interessante "The Gloucestershire
Twink Addison.
