Keith Dewhurst & The Albion Band, Lark Rise to Candleford - A Country Tapestry, LP UK Charisma 1980 - CDS 4020

"Lark Rise to Candleford" is the name of a trilogy by Flora Thompson. The titles of the pieces are taken from the plays Lark Rise (1939), Over to Candleford (1941), and Candleford Green (1943), all published by Oxford University Press in the Penguin Modern Classic series. Keith Dewhurst turned the three books into two plays, both performed at the National Theatre, London, with Bill Bryden and Sebastian Graham-Jones conducting, the first "Lark Rise" in March 1978 and the second "Candleford" in November 1979. The packaging, by Chess Creative, is very nice, as is the cover photo by Roger Perry and the internal illustrations by Michael Mayhew.

La confezione, a cura della Chess Creative, è molto bella, così come la foto di copertina di Roger Perry e le illustrazioni interne di Michael Mayhew.
