“Live At Rock City” ha origine da un broadcast radiofonico ma ci sono anche quattro tracce registrate durante il concerto di Nottingham nel Novembre 1986. La qualità sonora è nel complesso molto buona. La formazione comprende Clive Gregson e Christine Collister, voci di supporto, Rory McFarlane al basso, Gerry Conway alla batteria, e infine con John Kirkpatrick alla fisarmonica. è una rara, se non rarissima, occasione per ascoltare Richard Thompson e Kirkpatrick insieme a dividere il palco. Davvero un doppio cd emozionante, registrato da John Moon e John Bolton.Il tour era per promuovere l’album “americano” Daring Adventures.
