June Tabor & Oysterband, Ragged Kingdom, LP UK Topic Records 2011 - TTSLP008

Many years after “Freedom and Rain” the collaboration between June Tabor and Oysterband is reborn. “Ragged Kingdom” is a beautiful album that has earned five-star ratings from British magazines such as Mojo and the Guardian. Among the most beautiful compositions are the galloping “Bonny Bunch of Roses”, which opens the album, and the traditional “If my Love Loves Me”. Producer Al Scott recorded the album at Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire and Metway Studios in Brighton. The photography and graphic design are by Judith Burrows.

Molti anni dopo “Freedom and Rain” rinasce la collaborazione tra June Tabor e Oysterband. “Ragged Kingdom” è un album bellissimo che ha meritato valutazioni a cinque stelle da riviste britanniche quali Mojo e Guardian. Tra le composizioni più belle c’è la galoppante “Bonny Bunch of Roses”, che apre il disco, e la tradizionale “If my Love Loves Me”. Il produttore Al Scott ha registrato l'album presso gli studi Rockfield di Monmouthshire e Metway di Brighton. Le fotografie e la concezione grafica sono opera di Judith Burrows.
