The collaboration with Martin Simpson gives birth to a vibrant album that has its apex in the memorable interpretation of "Le Roi Renaud", already known to fans in the version by Pierre Bensusan. In addition to Simpson, it is also important to mention the presence of Ric Sanders (violinist of Fairport Convention), Dave Bristow (piano) and Jon Davie (bass). Producer Paul Brown recorded this album at the Millstream studios in Cheltenham thanks to the contribution of the sound engineer John Acock. The graphics are by Tony Engle and the cover photograph, really grainy, by Geoff Trinder.

Oltre a Simpson è importante citare anche la presenza di Ric Sanders (violinista dei Fairport Convention), Dave Bristow (piano) e Jon Davie (basso). Il produttore Paul Brown registra questo album negli studi Millstream di Cheltenham grazie all'apporto del fonico John Acock.
