Chrysalis (March 1974) - CHR 1053
Recorded in 1974 at Morgan
Studios in London, this album represents a new and important stage in
the history of the group. Many compositions are "traditional arranged",
with the exception of "To Know Him Is To Love Him" by Phil Spector,
in which there is the collaboration of David Bowie on alto sax. The
original Chrysalis cover, elaborated by Shirtsleeve Studio, is very
suggestive: it represents an old shrine with a tree drawn on which
birds flying that have the faces of the musicians.
