Questo nuovo album del gruppo è registrato a Glasgow, negli studi Cava Sound, dal fonico Robin Rankin. Autore della grafica di copertina è Colin Browne. Tutte le composizioni sono arrangiate dagli Ossian ad eccezione di "Light on a distant shore" di William Jackson (è la traccia 2 del lato 2, omonima rispetto al titolo del disco).
