Two tracks, "John Lee" on side A (by Dave Swarbrick) and "The Time is Near" (by Dave Pegg), characterize this 45 produced by John Wood and Simon Nicol. Both tracks are taken from the 33T "Babbacombe Lee" (ILPS9176). On the back cover we find the lyrics of "John Lee" together with the strange invitation to write to a certain Lisa of the publishing house Island to know the full story of Babbacombe Lee. Finally an acronym (E.J.D.) perhaps indicating the authors of the Graphics.
