Fairport Convention, Who Knows Where the Time Goes?, UK Folkprint (March 1998) - FP 005 PLP

Fairport never cease to amaze: the line-up changes again, with Chris Leslie replacing Martin Alcock, but the quality of the product does not change. This new album contains enchanting songs starting from "Dangerous" (by Kristina Olsen) up to the energetic "Spanish main" and the traditional "The Golden Glove". The conclusion of the album is made up of two live performances. The "noir" graphics of the packaging are a bit of a nightmare, but the booklet accompanied by photographs by Phil Starling is complete and tidy. The "picture" version published by Folkprint in only a thousand copies (this is the 420/1000) uses the drawings of Andy Price and the clock designed by Mike Toole.
