and Barry open and close this compilation of tracks played on BBC radio
by Frances Line, who also produced the album. "Talcahuano Girls" is a
song about whaling by sailors from London and Hull arriving at the port
of Talcahuano in Chile; the closing medley is an instrumental written
for Northumbrian pipe by Tom Clough. The cover illustration "The
Cupid's Revenge" comes from the Cecil Sharp collection.
