"Perthshire Amber" è un'opera in quattro movimenti, commissionata a Dougie dal Perth festival of the Arts. La produzione è dello stesso Dougie insieme a Jennifer Maclean, autrice anche del disegno di copertina dal titolo "Amber". Gli arrangiamenti del Cd sono curati da Kevin MacCrae. Registrazione e masterizzazione sono state svolte da Robin Rankin. Nel complesso un bel lavoro, struggente e arioso.
