The Old Swan Band celebrates its fortieth anniversary with a very eclectic album that collects traditional English, Irish, Scottish, French, Canadian and Australian compositions, arranged according to the group's style. The album finds its peak in the jigs and varsoviennes corresponding to tracks 6 and 7. The production is entrusted to Doug Bailey and John Adams, who is also the author of the liner notes in collaboration with Paul Burgess. Typical of the group is the cover design entrusted to the art of Katy Coope.
