English Fiddle Players,
LP Plant Life Records 1987 - PLSR 077
The English Fiddle Players
presents a cross-section of the many fiddle players to be found playing
in pub session and country dance bands all over the country. The five
players here are all largely self-taught, each has developed a personal
approach and an invidual style of playing that is a part of the
domestic fiddle playing tradition rather then the world of the formally
trained violinist. This album is produced and recorded by Paul James
and Charles Gray, mastered at CTS by Mike Brown. Artwork, Design:
Janina Lech. Line up: Paul Burgess, Flos Headford, Alan Lamb, Howard
