Blowzabella

Blowzabella is the name of a well known folk dance, collected and  transcribed by Bill O'Toole to which the disc is dedicated . This name was chosen by a group of students of the London College of Furniture,  fans of  making music instruments. These people are standing on Ian Martin’s  photography,  front cover of  their first album.  Interesting, on the inside cover, a description of the manufactured instruments is given., instruments used in various compositions. The work is sober without any particular original arrangements but attests to the wide range of  the research: "Yane Sandanski", one of the best pieces of the album comes from  the Macedonian tradition.

Blowzabella è il nome di una danza popolare assai nota, raccolta e trascritta Bill O'Toole al quale il disco è dedicato; il suo nome è stato scelto da un gruppo di studenti del College of Furniture di Londra, appassionati nella costruzione di strumenti. Sono quelli che troviamo nella foto di Ian Martin che campeggia sulla copertina di questo loro primo album. Interessante, nell'interno di copertina, la descrizione degli strumenti costruiti e utilizzati nelle varie composizioni. Il lavoro nel suo complesso è sobrio e privo di arrangiamenti particolarmente originali ma testimonia l'ampio raggio della ricerca: "Yane sandanski", uno dei pezzi migliori dell'album, proviene dalla tradizione macedone.
