Folk Pirate, LP Expression Spontanée n.23 - 1975

This issue of the collection "Expression Spontanée", produced by Gerard Dole, is especially dedicated to Cajun music and to American music in general. The recordings were made in a small club of “Quartier Latin” (in Paris) owned by the same Gerard Dole. Pierre Bensusan plays on two compositions. The first one (La Two - Step A Phleo Fontaine) was recorded on January 23rd, 1975: Pierre accompanied the violinist Phleo Fontaine, a completely unknown musician, in an only Cajun rhythm. The second piece (Big Ben's Tune) was recorded on January 25th and when considering the style we may say it is a composition written by Pierre. The cover is made of a series of cartoons.
