This is the legendary album, the first of what will become a trilogy, in which English dances blend with the electric sounds of bass and guitar. The dancers of the Chingford Morris Men perform and you can feel their presence in recordings such as "Lads A'Bunchum/Young Collins" for example. Kirkpatrick, Thompson and Hutchings are at the height of their creativity. The costumed cover photo, taken by Keith Morris, will become symbolic and will touch our imagination (especially Richard Thompson as Robin Hood and John Kirkpatrick as a chimney sweep with a vacuum cleaner).
