Ashley Hutchings "By Gloucester Docks I Sat Down and Wept" è stato originariamente registrato nel 1987, con il sequel "Paradise and Thorns" appena 31 anni dopo. Questo nuovo album completa di fatto il trittico includendo out-takes e rarità. Si tratta di un album piacevole che comprende anche un brano tratto dal film “Ossessione” di Luchino Visconti. La registrazione è stata effettuata da Paul Hopkinson e dallo stesso Hutchings presso il Foundry Recording Studio di Chesterfield. I disegni di copertina sono dell’immarcescibile Mike Toole.
